Entropians.com offers a feature-rich, dedicated instant messaging network for the Entropia Universe community, allowing members to stay connected with friends, society members and Entropia contacts 24 hours a day. Users can connect to the server using the EntropiansIM client, or with any Jabber/XMPP compliant client. The EntropiansIM server is powered by the open-source Jabber protocol, the same technology that is used for thousands of other XMPP-compliant networks, including Google Talk. The EntropiansIM server offers many advanced features, such as:

The EntropiansIM client is a customised version of the popular Spark Jabber client, and is designed to take advantage of all the features of the EntropiansIM server. Other Jabber Clients may also be used to connect to the private Entropians.com IM network, but may not support all features. To begin using the EntropiansIM network, you must first Register, then Download the client software. Once you have installed the client you simply connect to the network by entering the username/password you provided during registration. Enjoy! |
